Chapter 3

Lucaus had looked like he had been crying a little.
“So, you were saying you fell asleep in this “dragon’s” arms.” Karren, the psychologist, questioned. “Did anything else happen?”
“I woke up at my Aunts house. She told me that I had been in a wreck and that my parents didn’t make it.” Lucuas answered with a sniffle. He hated opening up old wounds. “The next day I tried telling her happened but she said I probably just dreamt it.”
The srinks tone then went from professional to worried intrest.
“You said something about a pendant,do you still have it?” she looked like she was holding her breath.
Lucaus pulled out a shiny green pendant that had a dragon like swirl in it.
The psychologist physically sighed. “Interesting.” she looked has if she had now a bunch of thoughts flying in her head. She regained her composure and sounded professional again. “You know in times of great trama a five year old could most likely think up crazy things.”
“What are you saying Miss Andrawn?” the fifteen year old questioned. He had a irritated edge to his voice.
“I’m saying that you could have made all that stuff up to help your mind cope with the thought of your parents-”
Karren Andrawn was abruptly cut off with shouting anger from Lucaus. “Oh so you’re going to tell me that dragons aren't real after what I just told you!?!”  
Karren stayed calm as Lucaus went to the door and opened it. Karren was silent looking down at table. Lucaus walked out in a hurry, storming down the hall. Karren looked after him with a protective look her eyes and a worried tone in her voice.
“It’s for you own safety.”
